Bright steel from EZM is characterised by high dimensional accuracy and highquality bright surfaces. Compared to rolled or forged products, drawn bright steel offers the advantage of a greater range of processing options, while the higher degree of prefabrication brings cost benefits. EZM supplies bright-steel products in the form of steel bars in drawn, ground or ground and polished versions.
Bars are manufactured for a wide range of straightness and tolerance requirements up to IT 8 tolerance.
The demands on bright steels as regards their freedom from defects are increasing all the time. By using a new ultrasonic test facility for drawn and ground bars, EZM is close to meeting these demands 100%.
